This is a truly glorious cottage in the most stunning setting imaginable. There is a magical quality to the place and it is incredibly peaceful. The best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in and we have been to many. The owner Mel is absolutely lovely.

Cottage buried down a narrow lane. Well equipped kitchen - comfy lounge. Fantastic array of CD and DVDs in snug. Garden huge with many types of birds and animals to spot. Local pub and shop in Preston easily walkable (20 minutes) along footpaths through orchards. Coastal towns the main attractions east of Canterbury but can quickly travel to west of Canterbury along A2 / M2 where there are many NT properties.

Relaxing break in a lovely setting with wonderful hosts.

    out of 10

We had a great time as the cottage is in an ideal location to reach all parts of the Kent coasts and East Sussex too.

    out of 10

It's a charming "olde worlde" thatched cottage situated in a tangle of country lanes. Nearest shop and pub are about two miles away, but there's lots more within a ten mile radius. Once you get to a main road then most of Kent's main attractions are within striking distance.
