Had a really enjoyable family break, the Lodge was well presented. On arrival we were greeted by Charlette who gave us a walk through and explained all of the amenities. The Lodge is very private surrounded by shrubs and trees, you wouldn't know there is a small caravan / camping area on the same grounds. Would easily recommend the Lodge to friends.

Excellent base for sightseeing in the area. Very quiet and private with good outside space for when the sun was shining. Suitable for anyone in a wheelchair as it has step free access a roll in shower. About 10 min drive to closest shops and plenty round about to do and see.

A beautifully designed building, The heating wasn't working for the first couple of days and it was freezing although the problem was sorted as it was a fault in the system. Pity we had to leave a day early because it was so handy for both Northumberland and Scotland Very comfortable. Needs a guest remarks booklet. Completely suitable for wheelchair access.
