Queen Victoria chose this site for her private visit to The Trossachs in 1869 and planted a tree in the grounds of the house which can be seen today. Built in 1911 as an Edwardian shooting lodge on the hillside overlooking Loch Venachar Invertrossachs Country House is now a family home and this apartment is located in a private wing of the owners’ house. The Rob Roy Apartment has an open plan living area with views over the grounds and loch and two bedrooms.\nFor guests wanting a relaxing hideaway in a peaceful and secluded environment away from the hustle and bustle of daily life this is the perfect location at any time of the year. In this privileged location guests are able to explore the 24-acre grounds with direct access to the loch shore perfect for fishing and enjoy lovely woodland walks. A great area for guests who enjoy nature the estate is a haven for wildlife with deer pine martens otter and many different wild birds flora and fauna.\nFor the more adventurous this area is famous for the variety of outdoor activities with cycle trails hill walking sailing canoeing pony trekking fishing and golf all surrounded by spectacular scenery. Great apt in a stunning location. Dakem could not have been a more helpful and thoughtful host. Walks direct from the door and lots of activities to choose from both nearby and a bit further afield.
