This was our second stay in Isaac House and it's beautiful. Its so much bigger than it looks. It was just my husband and myself but we are hoping to return again with our daughters. Perfect location in Cockermouth. Everything on your doorstep! Would highly recommend.

This property is perfect for two couples. Due to its location and layout .Bed rooms are top floor and basement with the living area inbetween. Warm and cozy with all you need for a Good Stay. Shops, pubs, resturants all within easy walking distance.. The Property details state : "Small enclosed patio (shared with next door property). Private parking for 1 car; additional public car park at cost." But the "Patio" is Very Small and not very practical. The private Parking area at the back was very muddy and difficult to drive into due to the grass being rutted. There was a parking permit and the car park is just over the road or around the back. The property is up for Sale and there were a few small maintenace item that had not been corrected from previous reports.. We all had a good time and would return and recommend Cockermouth , Food good at the bitter end and castle bar both close by,

Looking a little tired. We did notice that it was up for sale. Lovely house, great potential. Nice area, nearby parking with permit (included). Pubs, shops and Jennings Brewery (tour recommended) short walk away, 5 mins to large Sainsbury's.

Our second stay in this lovely cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped - fortunate, since it rained for most of the week! Spacious rooms (great bedroom and bathroom) and a place to which we would happily return. Excellent position next to the Town Hall with easy walk to plenty of restaurants and pubs. Our favourite restaurants are Fermento, Asparva and The Quince & Medlar.

    out of 10

Very damp basement bedroom, ensuit and dining room giving off foul odour. All unusable. The shared patio area was filthy with dead pigeons and pigeon droppings, four bikes belonging to next door and a broken bench. This 'patio' is simply a dirty back yard. The car park on the property is a quagmire of mud and tyre trenches where previous occupants had attempted to mount the high curd to park. TV is a nightmare to operate

Lovely homely house. Excellent location very short walk to amenities. Very well equipped. Could do with an armchair in lounge. Couch not big enough for 4. Some slabs laid in parking area and bushes cut back would make huge difference. Luckily we had a small car with us and could fit into drier area between the deep waterlogged ruts left by previous cars. The big car would've got bogged down but parked it in car park with permit

Great property, very central to all amenities.
