No smoking.\n\n With views from the rear across Coquet Island this detached holiday bungalow sits at the northern tip of Druridge Bay on a private cul-de-sac next to the owner’s house. It is centrally located providing easy access to the visitor attractions on the coast and inland and is within comfortable walking distance of a sandy beach and nature reserve. Nearby Amble reputed to be the “friendliest port” has plenty of restaurants and shops with a working harbour and Sunday market. There are several walking trails of special interest and a variety of wildlife to enjoy nearby. Alnwick with the castle used in Harry Potter films enchanting gardens and treehouse is within 30 minutes. It is a great location for travelling this friendly and unspoilt county peppered with friendly villages and historic castles. Golf and fishing are available locally. Beach ½ mile.     Very well equiped family holiday home. Five star cleanliness. Great location for walking and the local beaches. Peaceful spot with good views of the local island and countryside.

    to start with parking was very inconvenient had to manuvere and reverse out of the lane especially when the owners 3 cars were there.very difficult to unlock the outside doors had to ask the owner on one occasion to help us out.The cottage is badly needing a revamp ie hot water taps no pressure central heating timer needing reset heating came on during the night cold in the evening.small freezer in kitchen badly in need of defrosting plus inner doors of freezer hanging off.All the above were reported to the owner but unfortunately none were carried out.we understand it was christmas but all these things did not happen overnight.Unfortunately the attitude of the owner did not go down well with us.Our Christmas spoilt

    Our family of five had a lovely time at the cottage. It was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. The view of the island was delightful and the location very peaceful. The owners left a few welcome treats for our arrival which was very thoughtful. The local village of Amble was within easy distance and had a well stocked Coop and small Tesco on the high street. There’s a nice selection of games, jigsaws, books and dvds to keep everyone entertained and the WiFi was very reliable (much to the relief of our two teenagers!). Overall a very chilled out week in a homely house.

    Had a great stay only downside was the enclosed garden to get to it was around the side of the cottage it wasn't a problem for us as we could just let the dogs out the front door in the night with no fear of them running away. Every thing you could need was provided a short drive from the beach (great for the dogs) and Amble with two or three decent places to eat and drink would we visit again? Don't think so most places of interest didn't allow dogs, great walks for them in the summer but a bit cool in the autumn/winter.

    Very nice cottage, very quiet and equipped with everything you could want. It's location is perfect, easy and short walk down to the beach where you can walk into Amble town. It's central for all our favourite places; Bamburgh, Druridge Bay, Warkworth, Alnmouth, Beadnell, etc. The only criticism I have is I would call it more dog "tolerant" than dog "friendly". If you don't have a dog then I would highly recommend it.

    The cottage was lovely with everything we needed. View out of window was breathtaking. Downside was not being able to leave our two well behaved dogs for couple of hours, this was my fault as didn’t check before booking. For that reason wouldn’t go back but would recommend for anyone who doesn’t have dogs or doesn’t like to go out without them occasionally

    We enjoyed waoks from the cottage, the local beaches and nearby town. The cottage had great views and wasbwell equiped and comfortable. We would stay there again. The welcome pack was exceptional. We enjoyed our holiday.
