Enjoy a leisurely stroll around this picture postcard hamlet and keep an eye out for the 16th-century buildings complete with Flemish chimneys. On an evening take a stroll to one of the traditional Welsh pubs nearby and enjoy some locally sourced home cooking. Once satiated, you can retire to your cottage and relax with a glass of bubbly whilst enjoying stargazing through the crystal clear Pembrokeshire skies. In the morning, take a walk to Grandiflora Plant and Garden Centre and visit the café for an early breakfast, followed by a fun-filled day in Heatherton World of Activities, just a 5-minute stroll away.
Locally the famous walled town of Tenby is within a 10-minute drive with cobbled streets and stunning beach. Boat trips are available to Caldey Island or why not enjoy a relaxing afternoon fishing? Try the local fresh line-caught fish on the harbour and take in the unobstructed views out across Tenby Beach, the glistening blue seas, Worms Head and the Gower Peninsular.
On a sunny day explore some of the 186 miles of sublime Pembrokeshire National Park Coastal Path, which runs from the coastal village of Amroth as far north as Cardigan with rugged coves, cliffs and beautiful bays to discover. Family attractions in the area include Blue Lagoon Water Park, a huge indoor water play centre, or Wales’ largest theme park, Oakwood, which has something for all ages from roller coasters to paddle boats, all within 20 minutes from the cottage.
