Situated in the village of Bethesda, on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park, the area is renowned for its scenic beauty and is superb for walking, cycling and mountain climbing - you can walk in the Cameddau Mountains from the doorstep. It is also within easy driving distance from Llanberis, the village at the foot of Mount Snowdon with its famous mountain railway, and the university town of Bangor with Penrhyn Castle (National Trust). Other places to visit include Caernarfon and Conwy with their magnificent castles, and the Isle of Anglesey with its 125 miles of coastline. Beach 7¾ miles. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant ¼ mile.
