This self catering cottage dates back to 1903 and is situated in a tranquil courtyard. It is only a short stroll down to the seafront and the old harbour. This is an ideal holiday property for a couple providing a fantastic base to explore the surrounding area. It is well equipped with all you need during your stay. The courtyard garden area can be a real sun trap there is outdoor seating where you can sit and relax as well as enjoy seeing and hearing the well fed garden birds. From the roadside of the cottage you get a view down to the seafront. The owners provide a portable BBQ which you can carry down to the seafront to enjoy a picnic dinner on the beach " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/721/840/721112.jpg CC526017

A well maintained and presented property, in a small welcoming village. Care and attention to every detail. Greatly recommended.

Very comfortable cosy cottage. Quiet secluded location to relax in. More than generous welcome pack supplied, especially enjoyed the warm freshly baked bread. Thank you very much Diane for your attention to detail.

We had a very nice relaxing and interesting week at the cottage

A well equipped and furnished ground flour flat, conveniently located, within easy walking distance of three good eateries. Everything you could possibly need was there, they even supplied a bottle of wine,a bottle of local beer, eggs, butter and as an added bonus, lots of games and jigsaws too. Food shopping is nearby in Rosyth or Dunfermline which are only a short ride away. You can also get milk and bread in the Post Office. Limekilns is an interesting little village and there are lots of places to visit in the surrounding area. I recommend the Falkirk Wheel, the Kelpies, the Andrew Carnegie museum and a drive along the coast to Anstruther for fish and chips.

Perfectly good base for my partner & I as a couple to explore some more of Scotland's history by day, and dance at night. No dedicated parking space and there was rarely any parking outside but thankfully we always found a space in the suggested parking area opposite (or else I don't know where we'd have parked!) Slightly frustrating to use microwave oven which is located on top of the fridge/freezer and my partner could never have used it as she's only 5' 2" tall! Diane & Andy although not around this week kept in touch by text message, and also left us some lovely little thoughtful gifts like eggs, milk, biscuits and some Prosecco. Overall though the cottage was well equiped, cosy, very comfortable, and made an ideal base for our 5th annual holiday in Scotland, and we would happily stay here again if in the area. Andy & Debbie
