Really enjoyed our stay. Lovely cottage which was really well equipped. Small garden but enclosed so safe for the dogs. Lovely area with a fabulous walk at the back of the cottage (accessed by the footpath at the end of the street). The shops are within walking distance and the Lakeside Cafe, which has more lovely walks, is well worth a visit.

Nice cottage suitable for couple or small family. Comfy lounge with lovely wood burner. Amazing slate floors. Warm with plenty of hot water. Nice shower but short bath. Main bedroom small but pretty with comfy bed with firm mattress. Nice big kitchen with all amenities but only 1 saucepan and 1 frying pan so had to use oven to roast stuff a lot. Rear garden disappointing, not really suitable for small or big dogs due to lots of v high steps and view from top not great. Front door can b hard to lock. Lovely welcome pack and good directions. Overall a nice property . if

Very poor access to the property via the very steep road. Problems with parking due to wheelie bins and recycling boxes also problems with the residents they clearly don't like living amongst a holiday rental, we would not go back.

The cottage was exactly as sold; it was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, the word-burner worked beautifully, and having a dishwasher was a definite bonus for holiday relaxation. The property is literally built into the hillside and the external steps are numerous and steep; there are two roads to access the property, one is very steep and the other exceptionally steep. Blaenau is a convenient base for access to the Ffestiniog railway, the mountains of Snowdonia, the Llyn coastline, and even Caernarfon was not too arduous to get to. We stayed with two young children who loved the cottage, and happy children means happy parents :)
