This wonderful property is conveniently situated just a 5-minute walk away from the centre of Banchory with its wide selection of shops and restaurants. For those who wish to leave the car behind there is an excellent bus service to Aberdeen Ballater and Braemar. The area has many delights to offer as Banchory along the Victorian Heritage Trail which runs from Fettercairn to Braemar and into the Cairngorm National Park. Famous for being the area of Scotland that won Queen Victoria’s heart so intensely Prince Albert searched the area for their second home discovering Balmoral only 20 miles away.\nAn abundance of activities can be enjoyed nearby with excellent golf courses hill walking mountain biking fishing canoeing horse riding archery quad biking and paintballing just to name but a few In winter the ski slopes are only an hour away. For a more relaxing adventure visit the Falls of Feugh to watch the salmon leaping or Crathes or Balmoral Castle for a spot of history.     The apartment is well maintained, very clean and well equipped. The location is a good compromise, allowing convenient access to the coast and the Cairgorm National Park. Morrison's supermarket is just down the road and a fifteen minute walk to the town centre provides access to numerous restaurants ans and pubs with good dining. The fridge was thoughtfully provided with milk and a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Location on the third floor allows pleasing views of the Cairngorm foothills. All in all a pleasant experience.

    Perfect for a couple, very welcoming an many details well thought out. We were informed about the steps leading to the property and they were Ok for us, but might not suit everybody. As we are keen walkers we were delighted to find a lot of information about local walks and outdoor activities.
