A very warm welcome awaited us on our arrival at Kilmuir. The cottage exceeded expectations and was very well equipped. The garden was the best we have had in a holiday cottage, a peaceful relaxing haven and the cottage itself was very comfortable.

Fabulous base for visiting the Borders. Very relaxing house and yes, there is some road noise but tbh it didn’t bother us as there are far more positive aspects to this well maintained, well laid out property. Although we were only here for one week, it felt like a month! Trish met us on arrival day to show us around and left some tasty bits - thank you so much. Would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the area. If I had to complain about anything it would be that there wasn’t a full length mirror in the main bedroom - did find one inside wardrobe in twin room eventually though lol! Thank you for a wonderful stay

Very well located cottage both for access to Selkirk town amenities and also for touring around the Scottish Borders. Interior very comfortable and like the Tardis seems a lot bigger inside than it first appears from the outside. Gardens and patio area very well kept. Friendly welcome from Trish the owner and we would happily stay here again.

Just spent a fantastic week rambling in the Scottish Borders. Kilmuir is a fabulous home from home spacious property in a very central location. The welcome pack was a very nice treat which we both enjoyed . The property was spotless throughout and extremely well equipped. The patio area and garden seating areas are both a tranquil retreat. Will definately return to this cosy comfortable property to further explore this scenic area.

A very well-equipped cottage, the best we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities and every comfort. A real home from home. We received a warm welcome from the owner, and a generous welcome pack. Shops, museums, cafes, pubs all within 10 mins walking distance. On a good bus route with great train connections to Edinburgh. Slightly tricky entrance, and some traffic can just be heard but otherwise a peaceful location, with lovely garden.
