A lovely cottage which was just perfect for our needs. The enclosed garden area was great for our 5 year old to run around in. Therasa was a great host and the little touches like chocolates, biscuits and also milk in the fridge were a nice surprise. Would highly recommend a stay here.

A very relaxing week at Kiln Hill Cottage. The cottage is located away from the busier parts of the Lake District, yet you can be in Keswick or Cockermouth within ten minutes, so all your shopping needs are nearby. Everything we needed was supplied, the kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the ensuite in the master bedroom was a bonus, and the upstairs living room provided a good view of Skiddaw, although it was mainly hidden in the clouds for our visit, but we did see the peak on a few days.

We have been to a lot of properties over the years and this was one of the best, there was plenty of cups, mugs and cutlery and cooking utensils. The view of Skiddaw is stunning from the lounge window. Beds are really comfortable and the garden is lovely.

Kiln cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. The owner is very welcoming and there were nice touches, like milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits to greet us. There were even chocolates on the bed. Theresa was very friendly and only next door if we needed anything.we enjoyed our short visit very much.

A charming, warm, spacious cottage with everything you could need supplied. Even milk, tea, coffee and mince pies on arrival (we went mid December). I would recommend bringing a car as there isn't a huge amount in walking distance. But very short drive to Keswick, the town with plenty of shops and bars. Plus so many walks close by, including Mount Skiddaw, which overlooks the cottage. Quite a steep climb, but worth it!! The owners were so friendly and helpful and we have recommended to all our friends! The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, a romantic, cosy, quiet, walking holiday. Delightful!

Beautiful little cottage. Very clean! Lovely little personal touches i.e. chocolates on pillows, milk in the fridge. And.... the whole family saw the resident red squirrel!

This lovely cosy cottage was well equipped and the perfect base for some beautiful walks. Therasa gave us lots of good advice on the local area and we returned home each night to lots of hot water and a comfortable warm house to relax in. Many thanks.
