Very happy withe cottage as a whole. However there was no real way of turning the hot water down. This made having a shower rather frightening. The owner explained that you needed to fiddle with the mechanism to get the water bearable. We were rather unhappy with this and as it was not warm outside we only took a few showers! We did not find this acceptable.

The cottage is only about 50mts from the A9 so is quite noisy at night even without the windows open. The owners were very pleasant and there were plenty of utensils in the kitchen. The windows could have done with a good clean inside and out and so could the toilet. There was a bird feeder outside which attracted all manor of garden birds and also woodpeckers and pheasants. The bed wasn’t too comfortable. There was a washing machine and dryer available. Intermittent WiFi and only a few tv channels.

Simple and small but complete cottage. Washing machine and dryer were free to use. Nice view from the garden. Shame it’s on the highway. Emails are not answered.

No wi-fi in cottage -this should have been made clear beforehand. TV did not work-I could hear Theresa May but not identify her on the screen. Cottage advertised as having dvd player - it didn't. Radio sometimes turned itself off. Expected to take recyclable rubbish away as,according to owner, tenants couldn't understand different bins. No coat hangers for the smallest wardrobe I've seen. Unaware till arrival that main business was selling "antiques", though a disused bomb shell in the entrance, the shoddiness of the huts and what looked like junk scattered all over the lawns was like Steptoe's yard. One or two taxis always present and was asked to move car so they could park next to our cottage. Main clientele were bikers. Should say the cottage was clean and tidy with plenty of hot water.
