A modern, well-equipped, well-maintained town house just a short walk away from the charming (and friendly) harbour town of Watchet. With the rest of the country sweltering, the sea breeze and airy interior made for a very pleasant week, and the comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Not a lot of room for error getting into the garage, but plenty of space for two medium-sized cars once you are in. Plenty to see in the surrounding area, and having a station in the town for the West Somerset Steam Railway was a real bonus and was an excellent day out. We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay.

Kittiwake is a lovely comfortable holiday home. The sitting room and beds were very comfortable. It was like home from home. We have been to Watchet many times and it was our first time staying here. We would most certainly stay here again. I read some of the reviews and was a little worried about parking. There is no drive to park on you have to use the garage which was no problem for us as it was huge, enough for 2 cars! Previous comments mention a tight squeeze, it's only tight when you first enter once you are in there is plenty of room. My peugeot 207 with a roof box fit perfectly. Nice quiet area with lovely helpful neighbours. Fantastic views from the top bedroom. Thank you for the bottle of wine on arrival what a lovley gesture. Thank you :-)

This is an excellent well maintained and of an high standard property. Very clean and spacious with a superb garage. Good base to tour Somerset, Exmoor and North Devon. Not a lot in Watchet itself. Two decent public houses for reasonably priced meals. Would recommend the property. Note. There is no name of Kittiwake on the actual property and you find it by its number.

Unfortunately the reason why I have scored lower on most is that the boiler for the heating and hot water was not working. We ended up using the immersion for the water and luckily the weekend was quite mild. However this caused a level of stress trying to solve. Also all the guests ( four reasonably intelligent adults) couldn't get the hob to work. (A lot of pressing but nothing happening). This was a shame as it marred an otherwise relaxing weekend.

This is a fantastic holiday accommodation in the lovely little unspoilt village of Watchet. The facilities at the property exceeded my expectations. Everything is at hand for a very comfortable stay. Property even has views to the sea which is a real bonus. Only tiny negative is you have to park in the garage which is a tight squeeze. There is no on street parking as such but it's no big deal at the end of day. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again as everything you need is a short walk away.

Yes really enjoyed our stay at kittiwake in Watchet and close to visiting other areas, such as Dunster, Porlock. Porlock weir and also Lynmouth. Kilve was good for fossil hunting! Have recommended to my friends.

Maybe cottage is the wrong word, however, it is a fantastic house. Everything you would need, good kitchen and comfy beds and large garage to stick the car away. Two minute walk to the good selection of pubs and shops.

As a family this was our 4th visit to Watchet, and with 6 of us travelling from Manchester we lik somewhere that’s home from home after a long journey. I can not fault kittiwake. Only small issue we had was the bin was already full with rubbish when we arrived although it says n the guide book that bin collection day varies it wasn’t emptied the week that we were there and so had to take the bin bags to the recycling centre, this wasn’t a massive issue just make sure the bags are sorted before hand as we were advised they don’t take general waste. We are already planning our trip again next year and if kittiwake is available then will hopefully be rebooking and I will definitely be recommending to family and friends
