This beautiful Provencal farmhouse in the Gard countryside boasts a private swimming pool and a large garden. Situated close to a farm, the house is located in the Golden Triangle (Arles-Avignon-Nîmes), just 15 minutes from Beaucaire and Tarascon, and 25 minutes from St Rémy de Provence.
This lovely, detached property enjoys a natural and peaceful setting overlooking fruit trees, in a region renowned for the quality of its vineyards. Tastefully restored in 2019, the house, with air conditioning, is furnished with comfortable furniture, large bedrooms and offers wonderful views of the countryside and surrounding orchards. Outside is a covered terrace, the ideal place to enjoy some al-fresco dining before retiring to the pool for a cooling dip. The downstairs bedroom has its own private sitting room, with a cosy open fire, the ideal choice for a couple.
On occasion you may see the neighbours tractor on its way to the field. You are welcoem to purchase some local produce directly from the farmer. During your stay be sure to visit St-Rémy-de-Provence, 21 km away, a great location offering opportunities for climbing, shopping at the market, sampling local fayre at the restaurants, shopping or perusing the art galleries. Other places of interest include Avignon and its riches is 23km away, Beaucaire, with a market, castle and abbey is 7km, the Baux-de-Provence, 22km, Nîmes, 30km and Arles, 22km, a superb place for walks in the Alpilles or horse riding at the equestrian centre. In the nearby village you can enjoy a game of tennis (at cost), visit the skate park and stroll around the small lake. Shop and restaurant 2km.
