This holiday home, with a private outdoor swimming pool, lies in one of the most sought-after areas of Gard. This truly peaceful base provides guests with a large terrace that has a panoramic view and isn’t far from the beautiful village of Anduze, or the Bambouseraie of Prafrance, a botanical park of 29 acres, which was created in 1856 and classified as a Historical Monument.
The steam train of the Cévennes, which runs from Anduze to Saint-Jean-du-Gard, crosses the Valley of the Gardens and its admirable points of view. From viaducts to tunnels, rediscover the railways of yesteryear. In the nearby cave of Trabuc, the largest cave in the Cévennes, water is everywhere, including waterfalls and gourds. There are 1200 meters of galleries where you can appreciate the spectacle of the Couloir des Merveilles, or the Lac de Minuit.
Why not visit the underground safaris, with between 3 and 5 hours of walking, where guests can enjoy a real trip to the centre of the earth, which doesn’t require any particular technical or sporting skill. At the edge of the river, on the side of the Gardon of Mialet, splendid bathing corners are available for guests.
Visit Vézénobres, one of the most beautiful villages of France, which is labelled ’villages of character’, with its medieval streets. Amateur speed at the Mechanical Centre of Alès, a beautiful and lively city, which has more than 90 hectares dedicated to motor sports, with 10 circuits for cars, motorbikes and go-karting. From the pretty village of Collias, sail to the Pont du Gard by canoe or kayak. Shop and restaurant 1.5km.
