Very pretty cottage with everything you need. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Close to shops but very quiet location. Only negative is parking. No parking near by where you can keep an eye on your car.

A lovely comfortable cottage. Close to all the towns & trails. Parking a bit of an issue - unpacking etc. I would recommend this cottage again except for 1 drawback - it is situated behind a fast food outlet. The noise at night is constant, Friday being the worst as it went on till 3.30am!! People shunting cages around at the back & security lights going off & on shinning straight into our room. Not very restful.

A pretty cosy cottage with all you need for a happy stay. Located in a lovely market town close to all amenities. Don't worry if you have any concerns about being dog friendly as you wouldn't know that dogs have been there. Lovely little garden. Lots of places to visit and if you like walking you'd be spoilt for choice. Friendly people and friendly pub The George and the Dragon does good food at reasonable prices. The parking wasn't an issue for us. We only used the overnight pass once as we found a place to park near by with no restrictions.

My only grumble would be having to park the car away a little, from the house. Otherwise it was first class and handy for Bargain Booze, one minutes walk away! The Shrovetide Football match is a hoot, if you like legalised violence (look it up on Youtube).

A cosy comfortable cottage, peace and quiet in the night with comfy beds. The owners had decorated the cottage for Christmas which was lovely for our Christmas break. We already new there was no parking but we had use of a permit from 4 pm to 11 am so with a bit of planning and occasional parking at the rugby club or Sainsburys this was not an issue. The owners sent detailed instructions not only by email but by post. Easy walking distance to shops and Tissington Trail. Thank you for a delightful Christmas holiday.

This is our second visit to this very cosy and comfortable cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and like the fact it is right in the heart of Ashborne. It is just so convenient for everything. The cottage has no parking of its own, but we followed the owners advice for unloading and parking just a few minutes walk away and it worked out fine. We are looking forward to visiting it again in the future.

Stunning little cottage in a very convenient location. Superbly decorated and equipped. Lovely garden which we were lucky enough to be able to sit in at the end of October.
