Set in the peace and quiet of the Somerset countryside, Lakeview Holiday Cottages is a collection of contemporary homes from home designed with relaxation in mind. Within an easy drive from sandy beaches for those bucket and spade days, Lakeview Holiday Cottages is home to two and three bedroom properties. Each one has an impressive décor and the kind of features that make you want to spend as much time as possible catching up close to home, from kingsize beds, Juliet balconies and lake views.
With Somerset’s gentle canals to one side and a private fishing lake to the other, we can’t really think of a more idyllic setting for some time out with your favourite people. Close to the little village of Huntworth near the Somerset Levels, our Lakeview cottages and lodges are perfect for those of you keen to explore the area on foot, and for those days when you’re happy not to venture far from home you’ll find the communal gardens make just the space to unwind in the sun.
Set on the tranquil Lakeview resort in the heart of rural Somerset, The Willow Lodge is a two bedroom, ground floor bungalow that’s been carefully designed to offer disabled access. The kitchen, dining and living spaces have a contemporary, open plan design that makes the cottage a relaxing place to spend time as a family yet still enjoy your own space.
On a warm day you can open the patio doors that lead from the dining space to the terrace and let the sounds of the countryside flood your home from home.
After that hearty family meal, retreat to the living space for some time out in style. The electric flame-effect fire gives the space a cosy feel as evening falls, and if you’re reluctant to close the door on the fresh air from outside, the garden doors mean you can still enjoy a welcome breeze even while you cosy up inside. The master bedroom’s kingsize bed makes a welcome sight after a busy day.
Those of you who love nothing more than to while away an hour or two and see what you can catch will be welcome to fish at the nearby fishing lake with your valid rod licence.
