We spent a midweek break at Lambs Lodge and what a wonderful time we had. Ian was very welcoming and told us all we needed to know and even brought us some milk and fresh eggs. Thank you Ian. The cottage had everything we required inside and out and we had lots of use out of the BBQ and the hot tub. Beautiful scenery and friendly locals added to a great break away. We will definitely look to come back sometime. Thanks a million. Steve and Debbie

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at lambs lodge. Well equipped with everything we could have needed. Ian was a lovely knowledgeable man that greeted us on arrival along with some milk, fresh eggs and even left a doggy treat :) It's so close to Wellington, Taunton and easy access from the m5 but feels very secluded and private. Lovely doggie walks, a nice cosy fire and a really amazing hot tub..... Only wish we could have stayed longer :(

Great welcome, talked through everything we needed to know. Walks for the dog and location of supermarkets. Everything we needed was provided even down to welcome pack for the dog. After a day out walking it was a joy to step into the hot tub and then spend the evening curled up infront of the log burner.

Fantastic little cottage with private outside space. Log burner pumped out plenty of heat, whilst the bed was seriously comfy. As for the hot tub...OMG it was amazing. I could have spent the entire wknd in it, however did leave it for some wonderful dog walks and dinner at fantastic local pub which was in easy walking distance. Very welcoming hosts. Our dog Mack had a wonderful time and made some new buddies too. Will definitely aim to return, though for longer than two nights. Best UK short break we have had in many years. Bliss.

This quaint little stables conversion is an ideal couples get away to either relax in front of the log burner or in the hot tub, or base to explore the west country. A short drive from town so you are not completely cut off from civilisation but far enough out to have complete peace and quiet. Ian the owner is a lovely chap and very helpful and made my wife and I feel very welcome during our recent stay.

We loved our stay at Lambs Lodge. Compact accommodation which was good for the two of us plus one small dog. Small but well equipped kitchen area and nice lounge with log burner. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, taking time on our arrival to show round the accommodation and information about the surrounding area. Lovely log burner and fantastic hot tub which was private for our sole use. Lovely evenings looking at the stars from a warm bubbly tub! It was so relaxing to walk out of the cottage and be surrounded by fields with horses and lovely walk around the local village and river bank. We are already planning our next visit.

Had a great birthday break at Lambs Lodge. Highlights are definitely the hot tub and the wood burner! Cozy cottage and comfy bed. Locally the pubs are great. We tried the worlds end (1 mile away) and the food was excellent- didn’t try the local white horse as was already fully booked for Sunday lunch; also a great breakfast and farm shop at sheppy’s cider again only 1 mole away Equi-distant between wellington and Taunton. Only downside ( and it’s minor!) - no cd / radio or DVD player.. but used WiFi and own blue tooth speaker for radio etc We will be back for more serious hot-tubbin’ ( no G!) next year (and will take a DVD player!) Cheers Paul & Julie

Beautiful quaint little cottage, really homely. Myself and my husband stayed here after our wedding day just to get away and we well and truly relaxed throughly. Hot tub was lovely to relax in the evenings and local pubs highly recommended.

Lambs Lodge is a lovely place and the hot tub a real bonus the only issue we had was staying mid November it's dark early and there is no lighting on the long driveway or on the lanes to the village, the Whitehorse Pub is a 15 minute walk the food is excellent and staff and locals welcoming the pub also allows dogs in the bar area.
