Outside there are large gardens with unfenced small ponds (so not suitable for children under 12 (unless a disclaimer is signed), and plenty of off-road parking. There are plenty of sights to see in Chepstow; visit the castle, the oldest in Wales and a great way to spend the day. Another great historic sight is Tintern Abbey- there are some great views to be had over the Wye Valley from here or simply take a stroll along the river. Offa’s Dyke is not far from the property and there are some lovely walks to be had there also, or for a fun day out Chepstow also has a racecourse. Chepstow has an array of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Whatever your plans just enjoy this opulent property and its beautiful gardens.
