Don’t forget your bucket and spade, there is also a very handy cut through at the top of this development, providing just a 1 mile walk to the beach! It is also close to Titchwell Marsh RSPB, as well as having a nature area adjacent so ideal for bird watchers or those to enjoy walking.
Lapwing Lodge boasts an enclosed garden and kitchen/dining area, the perfect spot to enjoy a family meal and plan your adventures for the day. Hunstanton itself is just packed with things to see and do with traditional seaside amusements, a Sea Life Centre and numerous boat trips available. This seaside town is named Sunny Hunny by the locals, who head here to enjoy the wide sandy beach and famous stripey cliffs. There are lots of great places to eat drink and shop here too, all of which are easily accessible on foot so you can park up for the evening and head into town for a lovely meal or a few drinks.
Venture a little further and you will find yourself in the heart of a variety of stunning coastal habitats from picturesque quays and salt and clay marshes to rolling sand dunes and sand and shingle beaches. Head west to RSPB Snettisham Marshes for a wildlife viewing and lovely walks. Or head east and explore a string of pretty coastal villages all leading you to Wells-next-the-Sea, perfect for that amazing quayside holiday snap.
Those looking for a cultural history break will be spoilt for choice, with the Sandringham, Houghton, and Holkham Estates and the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn close by too. In fact, there is so much to see and do in the area that you are sure to come back, just to fit it all in.
