I word Fab, Larkspur is the perfect cottage it is fitted out with everything you could want. So near the seafront you don't need the use of a car for anything. All I can say is it was the perfect holiday cottage for Oliver my dog and myself, and what lovely person Jo the owner is.

A beautifully equipped and charming little cottage. The small courtyard would have been lovely to sit out in if weather had been better! Parking could be difficult, but we walked everywhere with our dog. The welcome pack was really thoughtful, overall real value for money.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage and a fabulous retreat for a long weekend. Like many seaside towns the area can appear a little run down but the beach is wonderful and clean and the cottage with it’s courtyard are the perfect oasis

Had a great time exploring hastings, the cottage was ample but small, the main problem was parking in the street never enough room at tea time, we loved Beckshill and the 7 sisters beach area.

Our weekend was perfect from start to finish! We were welcomed to the cottage by Jo who explained everything to us regarding keys, to heating, local interests etc. We were left chocolates, wine, cakes, fresh flowers, plus all the essentials what a wonderful welcome. The cottage was everything we hoped for, comfortable, clean, peaceful and had everything we needed. I would totally recommend! Jo even left dog treats for our dog Stanley so thoughtful!! A wonderful relaxing weekend.

    Really lovely property

Wonderful cottage small but everything you need for 2 people and a dog. All the furnishings were beautiful as was the decor. The bedroom was luxurious with a comfy bed and a powerful shower cubicle. Within easy reach of a cafe. Around 30 mins walk to Hastings with some lovely pubs for dinner. It was a blowy walk as the weather wasn’t good so would definitely return in the summer. The owner was friendly and left treats for us and the dog.

Perfect, cosy place to stay with a great location. Jo was a great and flexible host. A stones throw to the St Leonards sea front and then only a short 10 minute walk along to Hastings which has a fantastic Old Town.

Our Cottage myself and my wife stayed in was absolutely amazing! We loved every minute of it and couldn't speak highly enough of the owner Jo. We had our dog staying with us and she couldn't be more welcoming if she tried with the addition of dog treats, a bottle of wine for us and Coffee, jams, honeys etc. The Cottage itself was spectacular and finished to such a high standard....so much so we didn't feel the need to go out on the Saturday night we instead stayed in and cooked in her wonderful kitchen. Jo even helped us out when my wife left her purse behind and once we contacted her to alert her she sent it back to us special delivery next day with no charge. I couldn't stress enough how easy and welcoming the whole experience was and wouldn't think twice about staying there again Thank you for a wonderful stay!
