    Cosy Cottage. Stairs awful.

Parking exit was blind onto a main road, and is awkward for larger vehicles.Garden consists of a weed patch and uneven bricks, concrete, and gravel. All surrounded by overgrown trees and bushes, meaning at no time of day there is any sunshine.Bathroom equipment needs proper maintenance, specially the shower. The stairs are narrow, steep and winding, and are awkward for anyone who are not fully fit. This is made important as bathroom is downstairs. The beds are good, and very comfortable. The property is good example of an old workers cottage, with low ceilings.

The cottage was nice and very basic. The furniture was uncomfortable but the cottage was in a prime location for lots of days out. The shower was awful I’m definitely needs to be replaced. Yeah was polite and when the lightbulb light didn’t work on the stairway he was very quick to replace it.

Ideal rural retreat. Atmospheric 18th century cottage with woodburner and garden. Local shops and bus routes to Rye, Tenterden, Ashford and Canterbury.
