NB 2 steps to patio.This semi-detached Victorian villa offers great family-friendly holiday accommodation and is ideally situated on the main road between the popular resorts of Shanklin and Sandown. Shanklin known for its sandy beach and clear waters has a pretty old village with thatched cottages tea rooms and restaurants. Sandown is also within easy reach of the property. The Needles with chair lift amusement park boat rides lighthouse and coloured sands of Alum Baym is a short distance away. Also within an easy drive are Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House and Gardens. Blackgang Chine and island attractions such as Ventnor Botanical Gardens Isle of Wight Pearl Dinosaur Isle and a donkey sanctuary are all easily accessible. Beach 400 yards.     Second visit, very comfortable beds well equipped kitchen, the only thing I would ask for is a full length mirror & all the other mirrors in the house including bathroom are far too high for me to use as I’m only 5ft tall & can just about see the top of my head.

    The maintenance of the house not to a very high standard. The kitchen especially, had to clean everything before i could use it. Dirty marks on all the carpets. Couldnt shut any of the doors without banging them. Everytime the water was used loud banging noise. Disappointed the garden wasn't attached to the property. The house itself is lovely and spacious just let down by its up keep. The lounge wall paper is on up side down. I did leave a note for the caretaker and hopefully she will take on board some of the things that need correcting.
