Lime Cross Cottage is situated close to Herstmonceux Castle, where guests can visit the grounds and themed gardens and then stroll around this historic building. The ‘hands on’ Observatory Science Centre provides an opportunity to see the huge telescopes first hand, explore the universe and take part in one of the workshops for children or open evenings. Why not learn how to fish for trout at the lakes next door (at cost, licence required), go inside the Grade II listed landmark windmill close by, explore the Pevensey Levels, or have a day out at Drusillas award winning zoo or pack up a picnic and head towards Pevensey Beach or the pier at Eastbourne - the choice is yours.
