Little Barn is also just 7 miles from the market town of Holsworthy to the south with its various shops, cafés and restaurants plus Holsworthy Museum, golf club, pottery, archery centre, horse riding stables and main supermarket. 14 miles to the north is the port town of Bideford and just 13 miles from the Cornish coastal town of Bude. In nearby Cornwall there’s King Arthur’s Tintagel, lovely Boscastle and many other coastal villages - all with awe-inspiring scenery. The fantastic Southwest Coast Path runs through the region’s rugged coastline and is perfect for walkers and view seekers offering 90 miles of stunning walks.
Just 750 metres away is a popular horse-riding stables, where you can enjoy lessons (bookings required in advance). For the fishing enthusiast, there are 3 reservoirs locally that can be fished on day tickets. Melbury is also close by, with reservoir’s holding specimen Carp and Bream. The famed Upper and Lower Tamar Lakes are just a 5-minute drive away. Into cycling or running?
