Ok, the property is pre 2nd world war, I think the 'Cottage was either a garage or workshop which has been extended and refurbished. The result is an odd mixture, the dining table is in the way as you enter the property, the kitchen is a galley type with no suitable extract for the cooker therefore we were continually setting off the badly positioned smoke detector. The cupboards also smell strongly of damp. The 'bathroom' is part of the kitchen walled off to create an icily cold space, we visited at the first frosts of the year, the bath is an old steel enamel type with steep sides and an electric shower above, which backs onto the toilet, or the room of constantly running condensation. The heating is night storage heaters which were down to minimum input when we arrived and therefore took 2 days to start warming it. Several of the light switches do not do anything and there is a shortage of storage in the bedroom. I met the husband of the owner twice. his wife did not acknowledge our presence at any time. Oh there is a very nice impression of a Jack Vettriano painting in the lounge which carries her signature. So having now visited Kent twice and visited the White Cliffs, excellent National Trust management, the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railway which the dog loves to travel on, and Sandwich I see no further reason to visit the county ever again. Awful road system, far too narrow and ill maintained, my car was valleted the day before we drove there, it now looks like it's been through a ploughed field!

Little Cloverland is an older property and whilst the living and sleeping areas were more than satisfactory, the kitchen and especially the bathroom could do with some updating, a walk-in shower would much improve the property especially for those with mobility issues. It was a good location for travelling around that part of Kent.

We had a very enjoyable week at this comfortable cottage, which is ideally placed to explore Folkestone and the east Kent coast. The owners, Margaret and Alan, were very friendly and helpful. Dogs are happily accepted here which may be useful for future prospective visitors.

Lovely cottage, had difficulty in reaching the on button of the shower as very high but we are both 5ft ish, garden lovely but felt the hedges could do with a trim which would give more sunshine and view. Owner was really lovely and helpful and very quiet and relaxing holiday.

Little Cloverland is the perfect spot for a peaceful break. It is private but not isolated so felt very safe for a lone traveller.

Lovely little place though I would bring your own pillows. Sofa and chair uncomfortable too. Lovely walks nearby.
