Amazing little place to stay with everything you could need for a break away. Walking distance to lots of local attractions and driving distance to others. Would definitely recommend staying at Little Cottage. Thank you.

A gorgeous little cottage in a lovely little town. The extra touches such as the welcome bottle of wine & milk in the fridge made this cosy cottage even more homely! Even though it is only one room downstairs & one upstairs, the space isn’t cramped and everything has been very well organised. Cromford is a gorgeous little place with some great pubs and great walks. We would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous little cottage perfect for a weekend away. Close to the local attractions. Be sure to pick up some wood on your way in as the closest shop to sell it isn’t walking distance, although only a 5 minute drive :)

As most people have said, the noise of heavy lorries can be annoying. The stairs precarious but otherwise lovely cottage.

Excellent value for money in the lovely village of Crampton however is quite noisy throughout the day as there are a lot of lorries passing through the village. You are also restricted where you can park.

This is a beautiful little cottage as the name states, it is very central (right next door to a pub so can be a little noisy)

A lovely little cottage, suitable for 2. Very comfortable and modern. There was a big downside for us, the road noise was rather annoying though. Lovely place to stay and good location near Matlock and Bakewell.

I have to say Little cottage is so cosy and quaint and the bed is very very comfortable. But, the cleanliness was an issue. We couldn’t open the velux windows and even though it is advertised as dog friendly there were slugs coming in. We could see this wasn’t the first time as there were slug trails on the curtain and a dead, dried up slug in the kitchen area. The tap in the kitchen also dripped constantly and this had been going on for a few weeks as two other couples mentioned it. It is behind a pub so there is a lot of noise from that, some neighbours were renovating their house at 11pm at night and a couple of men stood outside the cottage having an argument. It is virtually on a very busy main road with lots of lorries and emergency vehicles driving past which was very noisy. It is such a beautiful cottage with so much history, I feel for the owners as they live in France for a lot of the year so I’m sure they aren’t aware of the fact it’s not being looked after properly. They seem to be very mindful of people having a wonderful holiday as they left lots of information and a lovely bottle of wine. I’m sure with a bit of sorting out this will be a wonderful place to stay so long as you don’t mind a bit of noise.

Really lovely cottage! It’s small as it is a converted stock room for a shop but it doesn’t feet small or cramped at all! It has everything you need inside. The only thing missing was a microwave really. Rather dark inside downstairs so always need a light on but the cottage is down a narrow street. The only down side was that the neighbours on the left of the cottage almost every night at around 7:00 started to do some kind of drilling :( Other than this lovely! The area is beautiful and plenty of things to do! Steven and Beth

Fantastic little cottage. This was our second stay here and it is perfect for the two of us and our dog. The only slight downside is that there is no garden but you know that when you book! There is some road noise especially when the lorries pass but we didn’t find it terrible. All in all it’s a lovely place to stay as a base for visiting the beautiful Peak District.
