This comfortable holiday home, offering separate living and dining space and a small enclosed garden to enjoy a barbecue, is a really convenient base for exploring all that this wonderful part of Wales has to offer. Also on the doorstep are a handy shop and garage, and the pub and restaurant. The beautiful long sandy beach of Cei Bach is just two miles away. Visit the pretty seaside town of New Quay, a mile further on (at very low tide you can walk along the beach and into the town), with a good selection of shops, cafés and restaurants, and where you can enjoy boat trips or spotting dolphins from the harbour wall whilst enjoying fish and chips or an ice cream. New Quay and the area was such an inspiration to poet Dylan Thomas when he lived here, and it’s easy to see why.

The sixty miles of path has the most varied landscape and spectacular views and is never busy or overrun with tourists. The seaside towns of Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and Cardigan are all within easy reach and well worth a visit with iconic harbours and castles. Shop, pub and restaurant 15 yards.

The cottage interior was clean tidy and spacious, it is ideal to use as a base for you holiday. The pictures however do not show that it is located between a petrol station and a hotel surrounded by the car park to the hotel front and back. There is a small unkempt back garden with a bench and table, not suitable for outdoor dining. Fortunately our dog didn’t come with us as the garden is not suitable. With a little more effort by the owner this could easily be addressed. Lastly it is situated on a busy main road which is a shame because the cottage itself was lovely.

We arrived at the Bungalow on the Saturday which was very clean the lady was friendly at first .She gave us a bottle of wine, On the Sunday we went cook something and we noticed that the gas cooker had only one cooking tray. We went over and spoke to the lady who was very rude to me after I mentioned the tray and also about having a two toaster when there was four of us she said she would get a four slice toaster and she would sort the cooker out has had brought food to cook. We went round on the Tuesday to ask about the cooker again. A few people came over with different trays which did not fit . They also brought the four slice toaster I asked for. We waited over the week and they never sorted the cooker so we could not cook anything. On the Friday the lady owner brought a unknown male into our garden without asking and started messing with gas, My daughter has Autism and my wife was in her gown . He scared them BULLET POINTS 1Settees too small for a family of four. 2 There hotel guests were very noisy. 3 The Road very noisy deliveries made to there hotel next door at 7am. 4 New cooker. The bungalow was very clean with nice fresh towels and the beds were very comfortable. The lady owner could do with going on a customer service course . Her husband was very nice

The cottage is right next to a petrol station on a busy main road. The back garden is not safe for dogs, there was rubbish, including wood with two rusty nails. There are lots of maintenance jobs that need looking at. The coving is hanging off in the dining room for example. It could be a lovely place with a little attention, for example if the garden was covered with artificial grass which could be hosed down to keep clean.

Lovely cottage near Newquay, with a pub next door, just off a busy main road so some traffic noise can be heard. The owners have provided everything so it’s home from home.
