The Moray coastline boasts plenty of unspoilt sandy beaches, where dolphins and seals are just some of the abundant wildlife often spotted. Follow the Strathspey whisky trail and sample a wee dram at one of the local distilleries, or head south to Fort Augustus where Loch Ness joins the Caledonian Canal and watch the boats navigating the locks.
For the outdoor enthusiast, activities in the area include mountain biking, hill walking, horse riding, paint balling, golf, quad biking and a variety of water sports. Drive the popular North Coast 500 boasting magnificent scenery and explore the counties of Caithness and Sutherland. Aviemore, the Cairngorms National Park and the Isle of Skye are all easily accessed by car. There are several bars, restaurants and shops in the village, and Inverness, the Highland capital, is only 13 miles away. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
