There’s a pleasant rear courtyard garden – perfect for dining al fresco. It’s within walking distance of an award-winning hotel restaurant, and local pubs and shops in the village of Deganwy. Also within sight from the front bedroom window is the historic town of Conwy with its mighty Edward I castle and town walls (a World Heritage Site), where you can visit Plas Mawr and Aberconwy House, as well as take a sightseeing boat trip from the quay. In the other direction is the Victorian resort of Llandudno which offers a wide choice of family activities, from exploring the Great Orme to visiting the theatre – and there are sandy beaches too!
