Tucked away in the peace and quiet of the South Devon countryside, Barton Pines is home to a collection of beautiful lodges and apartments, and the kind of facilities that’ll make you forget the rest of the world. Life at Barton Pines is about booking some time out, time to slow down, make memories and enjoy spectacular views of the coast and countryside. Whether you retreat for that romantic break for two, or you bring the kids for some family time, Barton Pines has everything you need to enjoy your holiday, your way. The lodges and apartments in our Barton Pines collection have been carefully designed with the ‘wow’ factor in mind, so expect a décor that’ll take your breath away and an inspiring interior design in every one. You’ll find baby friendly and dog friendly choices, and many of the lodges have a bubbling hot tub to make a stay extra special. Over in the historic main building, the chic apartments have an elegant feel, with several showcasing those stunning Torbay views. And no matter which pad you opt for, you’ll be just moments from wonderful dining and spa experiences.
Every now and then you need a break that’s all about family and all about unwinding, and Barton Pines is perfect. From its setting in a peaceful corner of South Devon, to the striking interior design throughout the lodge, this one’s been designed with relaxation in mind. Open plan living means there’s plenty of space to hang out as a family when you’re not enjoying the spa and the restaurant, and we’re pretty sure having your decked terrace area and a bubbling hot tub to yourselves will make this stay one to remember. And then there’s the underfloor heating on both levels. The communal lawned area has plenty of space for picnics and games with the kids. So, when you’re tempted to sample the tastes of the south west, you’ll find a friendly restaurant with a great reputation just moments from your lodge.
The lovely thing about Barton Pines is that although it’s set in the countryside, you’ll be within easy reach of some of the county’s best-loved resorts. The South Hams region is a great place to start, and we’d recommend choosing a section of the South West Coast Path and taking in those coastal views on foot.
