Aptly named Loftings provides a lovely self-catering loft style apartment with sloping ceilings on the first floor in this beautiful part of the Vale of White Horse in Oxfordshire. Set within a Conservation area, the village is on the edge of the ancient Ridgeway and Icknield Way, popular for hiking and biking.
No trip to this area is complete without a visit to the historic University City of Oxford where you can meander through the streets admiring the beautiful historical buildings, have a punt down the river or enjoy a shopping spree at the large shopping centre.
Within easy reach are three Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty with Berkshire Downs right on the doorstep where you can enjoy many hikes including the famous Ridgeway, a stunning place to watch the sunset. The Chilterns are also close by, where you can enjoy many walks or cycle routes while spotting wildlife such as red kites.
