This was our fourth or fifth stay at the barn but we were very disappointed this year by the lack of cleanliness.
There is clearly an issue with flys (not sure why in November), however there were several dead flies at the side of a bedside cabinet when we arrived and more appeared overnight. We opened the skylight in the morning & let them out, only to return to a further 15-20 that evening. The kitchen cupboard doors were also very dirty & cobwebs in most rooms, a couple of which had flies in them.
I did leave a note for the owner who did text to apologise that it wasn't clean enough for us, saying she thought the house looked very nice - I agree that it did look nice, but it just wasn't clean. I did send images to support my disappointment and hope that the owner will address the issues I raise, if only to stop future visitors facing the same problem.
This holiday let is excellent if you have a large family staying and want somewhere that is not going to be crowded when you are all in. The layout gives enough room for eight people to do exactly what they want without getting in each others way. The large lounge diner/Kitchen is a big bonus when gathering together in an open and informal room. There are two local pubs offering a range of meals and the sea and beach is not too far away either. It is a very comfortable family holiday let.

Lovely property. Very quiet location. Definitely need a car to get around. Only complaint was the floorboards creaked terribly upstairs so tended to wake people up if anyone got up in the night.
Would recommend. Taxi cost £40 1 way into norwich. Had chinese takeaway. Delivered and good.
Gorgeous barn that was perfect for our family long weekend. Lovely garden to enjoy games with children. Kitchen and dining area well laid out with plenty of space. Local walk to part of the broads which was great. Would highly recommend and we would love to return!

We are on our holiday at low farm barn in Beccles. The barn is very nice but there is a big issue with flies. So much so when we arrived there are 2 times fly strips full of flies hanging from the beams not a homely site when we paid a lot of money for the holiday. The barn has not been cleaned properly either with cobwebs flies that have obviously been splatted on the walls and not cleaned up Because of the fly issue I cleaned the floors moving the furniture to sweep before mopping and it was obvious that the floors especially under the settees tables and units had not been moved out for a very long time I even found tinsel, pieces of a jigsaw, the triangle from the trivia game and 3 dice.I have taken some pictures and will post on trip advisor. When queried the flies was told by the owner it is due to because the barn is on a farm, it isn't then change to say it was because of the weather, the weather was not over warm and we had rain. The light in the bathroom fell on my grandson when asked about it the owner knew that it was broken but had not taken it down only put sellotape to hold in place which it did not as fell. When asking about the cleanliness the owner said it was due to a tight turn around, there was a good 6 hour window for the property to be cleaned before we arrived. The owner did not want to take any responsibility for the state of the property, but said we had left too much rubbish? The bins had not been emptied before we got there and with 8 people we would take up half a bin of rubbish. Avoid the barn at all cost, if the owner can not take responsibility for the state of her own barn even though she was aware of issues, then don't waste your money go somewhere nicer where the property is clean, in a good state of repair and the service is excellent. i would not recommend this property and should be taken off the agents books.
Had a lovely family holiday, despite the changeable weather.
we had a great week here. 4 generations on a family holiday. Lovely base to explore suffolk.
