We found the cottage to be very comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Beach a short walk away. Set in a lovely village, this apartment is an ideal place for people to explore the lovely Northumberland coastline.

We were a bit apprehensive before we went due to some bad reviews on here. We were pleased with the apartment, found it very clean. Nice comfortable bed and clean bedding. Large modern shower and bathroom . Plenty of glasses and crockery etc.. two lovely pubs on the doorstep. Great location. Maybe issues people have mentioned have been rectified. We would recommend to other people and would stay again.

Lovely few nights break . However during the heatwave it did get very warm and we didn't feel secure enough to open the patio doors during the night . Sofa did smell of dogs .

Good accommodation and location to explore Northumberland and the fantastic local beaches. Only criticism - the seating in the lounge area was not comfortable.

This was our 3rd year running at this cottage so you can be sure we like its location. The only negatives are that sofa is getting a bit tired and hot water is not hot enough to wash up properly have to use kettle.

Having stayed at the same location about 3 years ago we were slightly disappointed with the property this time, the apartment was showing tiredness, possibly time to think about a refurb, kitchen cupboard doors not fitting correctly, lounge furniture very uncomfortable, needs replacing, no instruction books for cooker or microwave. Apart from this we enjoyed our holiday

Nice apartment, well equipped although some of the cooking pots and pans could do with replacing not that we used much as we ate out. The whole place needs a deep clean as there were cobwebs in the bathroom, the sofas smelt otherwise it was fine. We found that it was very hot at night with no way of ventilating the bedroom other than opening the patio door, not the best design feature for a bedroom. Great location next to two hotels and a cafe and a ten minute walk to the beach.

The accommodation was nice but there are a few things to be looked at which would bring all categories to 10. The kitchen was not very well stocked. The crockery and glasses need replacing. They are either mismatched or chipped. Very easy to fix. The wooden floor was lifting in places which was dangerous. The place needs a thorough clean as it was quite dusty in the corners. It could have been superb. It just needs a little smartening up.

Nice apartment and good location to explore Northumberland. Bed was very comfy. Lovely big, hot shower. Basic equipment provided. Could do with a baking tray. Sofas could do with updating or a deep clean as they're a bit tired and smelt like wet dog. Living room was very dusty with an artificial flower arrangement and twig decoration which were dust traps. Could do with a sweeping brush to keep sand and mud from the living room as the front door is straight into the room. Everything else very pleasant.
