The extensive well-maintained grounds benefit from two fishing lakes and a children’s play area. There are walks around the grounds as well as some local footpaths. Lower Aylescott Cottages are all well-equipped and furnished to a good standard.
The nearby village has a pub and local shop. The properties are very well-located to explore all North Devon has to offer. For something a bit more rugged, head out to Crow Point and the sand dunes of Braunton Burrows, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The nearest large town is the seaside resort of Ilfracombe. There are National Trust properties at Arlington and Knightshayes, and the RHS gardens at Rosemoor and Great Torrington. On site fishing is available, please visit the Gov website to purchase a rod fishing licence and please bring your own rods. Shop and pub 1 mile.
