We always leave any accommodation often better than we found it. We always strip beds and leave towels in the shower. Disappointing to reveal disgusting stains on the duvet when we took the cover off to help you out. My wife said she could smell urine earlier in the week.

A great weekend place to stay for 2 people, very cosy and fine for minimal self catering. Well positioned for northern lakes but you can hear traffic noise.

My partner and I, and our dog, had a lovely stay at Bluebell Lodge. Perfect location for us to get back onto the main road and travel to our desired destinations; and you can barely here the traffic noise. Perfect amount of space; really comfy sofa and bed. The bathroom was bigger than expecting and just generally was pleasantly surprised by the lodge. The only downside was the sheets were a bit stained on the bed; but they still seemed clean. Really met our needs and would definitely stay again, and recommend to others :)

We absolutely loved it!!! Great location and fantastic pod. The squash was a nice touch for the girls, it would have been nice to get a hot chocolate pouch for those chilly nights. Perhaps you could offer an optional basket with a few extra luxury items. Would have liked a lamp or bedside light to work and wifi was terrible, which made it impossible to plan our walks the next day. Fab that it was dog friendly but we chose to leave the chihuahua at home. Booking, arrival and check in with key box was hassle free. Working Farm was a bit grim, but the rest of location was amazing. Would definitely stay again. Already raved about it to all our friends. The road is not a problem. Yes you can see and hear but it didn't hinder our stay.

Had a lovely time in Bluebell Lodge - comfy and cosy accommodation! Good location handy for Keswick, Penrith and Ullswater. Only slight downside was poor wi-fi signal. If we'd known it would be bad my son would have downloaded some movies etc before we arrived! Otherwise it was a brilliant few days. Highly recommended!!

The location and pod is good. Only thing was that dog hair on mat by the sofa plus dog hair on front of sofa. Otherwise I would recommend to everyone.

Lovely cabin with and well sorted inside . A good view if not for the road. Main road outside with no sound proofing on cabin . Couldn't sit outside on nice evenings . Pets allowed which is fine but rug had lots of dog hairs on . Summary of cabin slightly misleading.

If you are a light sleeper this is not your place. The road is just next to the pod what it makes very difficult to sleep at night. Weekend traffic was high not only during the day what made our stay less comfortable. I was expecting a quiet and peaceful place and it wasn't the case. On the other hand, the pod looks brand new, it's pet-friendly and it has all you need for a long weekend. If you are not bothered about the noisy traffic this is a nice place to stay.

A lovely, cosy pod - bit different to staying in a cottage which was great.

Fantastic little pod had everything we needed, super clean and well equipped. Perfect location for the dogs a great walk to the local pub in the evening. Just a shame you could hear the road! Would definitely go back as a perfect base to explore the beautiful lakes.

Fantastic lodges brand new and self contained with everything necessary for anyone having their dog with them like us it would have been handy to have a hand held hoover. Great location as regards access to place like Keswick etc but was not expecting them to be so close to the a66 and the road noise. Overall a good place to stay

Busy A66 just 25 metres away! Noise and vibrations from traffic inhibiting sleep. Had this been evident in the advert we would not have bothered with this comparatively expensive let.

These lovely little pods would be great for a weekend or short stay. Why or why they placed them where they did is beyond me - you are approximately 50 metres from the busy A66 and face the road (rather than beautiful Blencathra behind the plot). Road noise is therefore high until much later at night. However the pods are clean, warm and modern. No other amenities at site (no washing machines, drying room etc) and the adjacent farm is nothing to do with the plot. We were comfy (just two of us and our dog) but the road noise was the intrusive element which would stop us going back. We got our break for a really good price - would be quite resentful if we had paid the ‘full’ standard price!
