This wonderful location has always proved to be very popular with walkers and cyclists alike, with Glentrool, Kirroughtree and the 7Stanes mountain bike trails nearby, as well as a great choice of golf courses.
This semi-detached cottage is set all on the ground floor, making it ideal for the less mobile. The property comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests across two bedrooms, comprising a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both served by a family sower room. Outside you have access to a private patio area with garden furniture, ideal for some al-fresco dining. After a busy day of exploring, wander the beautiful lawned grounds and woodland in relaxing surroundings.
Situated on the edge of The Galloway Forest and Dark Skies Park, the cottage is ideally placed to explore the beauty of south west Scotland. There is an abundance of fishing, bird watching, exotic gardens, rocky coves, sandy beaches and quaint villages to explore along the Machars Peninsula. The towns of Castle Douglas, Scotland’s food town and Kirkcudbright, ‘the artist’s town’, with shops, galleries, cafés and restaurants are all within easy reach. Beach 8¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
