Generally very good but some minor quibbles to be addressed: Some of the instruction booklets did not relate to the equipment (e.g.: microwave) in the cottage Settee wasn't the most comfortable Could do with waste bins in more than the kitchen

Manor barn in Over haddon is a great base for exploring the peak district, village is fairly quiet and whilst there isn't much in the way of amenities, Bakewell is just 5 minutes away with everything you need. Comfortable accomodation will definetly return.

Had a great stay in Manor Barn. Very comfortable, lovely bed linen and soft towels, easy parking. We were left a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine which was a very nice welcome. Good location for walks straight from the door. Only a short distance from Bakewell. Would recommend for a visit to the White Peak area. Sadly the pub in the village wasn’t great but in the neighbouring village of Youlgreave there were three and the Bull was excellent.

Lovely accommodation, beautiful location, well equipped and ideally situated for touring around the Peak District.. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would have no hesitation in trying to book it again when we next visit the area.

It was a lovely cottage, in a brilliant location for walks. Would definitely re book if ever back in the area. We even used the local bus (178) back from Bakewell one day.

Excellent location, clean and with a well appointed kitchen. Only slight issue was a smell of dog when it got warm outside, I think this is beacuse people let their dogs wee in the gravel just outside the windows in the front garden! Bedrooms are a good size and our boys were happy with the tv and wifi!

We had a very nice time in Manor Barn, we rated a little less because the bed we used was much too hard for our taste.

Comfortable and cosy cottage, very well equiped with more than a holidaymaker would normally need. One small carp was that there were no instructions for working the electric oven, which would not respond to this non-techie couple. It did not matter much as the hob and microwave were sufficient for our cooking needs. The provision of a Christmas Trees was a nice touch in this end of year booking. The location just remote enough for a secluded holiday without being too cut off. The local pub is really local and very welcoming.

Well placed and very quiet. Accomodation was loveley and well equipped. The 'owners' even put out a story book for our Grandson on his bed, ready for his arrival, the book was been looked after by a cuddly spotty dog. Also, after the usual burden of stop start traffic to get to the accomodation, it was nice to be greeted with a plate of homemade Flapjacks in the Kitchen to have with a well earned cuppa. Thank you for a very relaxing stay and we are already looking to have a return stay at some point in the future.
