the best cottage we have stayed in, back garden is a sun trap, super walks from doorstep enjoyed Bexhill, great meal on first night with wine provided we have already advised people to stay here, thank you for our holiday, sure we will book again

Lovely bungalow, couldn't ask for anything better. Excellent little touches by the owner e.g. bottle of wine, scones, cream & jam, couple of sweets. In fact everything you would expect in your own home.

We had a fantastic week at Mariners Corner. It was comfortable, clean and welcoming with a cream tea and a bottle of wine in the fridge. We loved being able to walk to the beach with our dog.

Home from home, it had everything we could have wished for. Spotlessly clean, well maintained and a pleasure to stay at.

very nice place perfect location to explore east sussex...and the weather was ok to

Clean well presented. The owners attention to detail is fantastic. Disposable shower caps in the wet room, four hairdryers, home made sconces jam and cream on arrival, four types of tea, two of coffee, two different cooking oils not to mention a fully equipped wicker picnic hamper etc.. I could go on but I’m sure you get the picture. It would be hard to think of anything they have not thought of. Gardens benefit from the regular attention of a gardener. WiFi is well fast. We had our eyes on the magnificent brass standard lamp in the dining room but it would not fit in the car so it’s still there!

A good holiday venue again. Only one aspect marred the enjoyment. The gardener turned up at a most in opportune time to cut the grass - mid to late afternoon - when the pollen level was rising. My wife suffers from hay fever. It would be better if he came in the mornings instead when people are likely to be out. Evidently he comes fortnightly; it would also be helpful if people could be told in the information whether he would be coming that week or not. These views are be shared by my wife.

The best holiday cottage we have stayed in, immaculate and with everything you would need.

We all enjoyed our holiday very much. The cottage was spotlessly clean, welcoming, relaxing, comfortable and in a quiet location. The owners go that little bit further with 'treats' on arrival - lovely thought, also provided us with a travel cot and highchair for our grandson. Well equipped throughout. Ideally suited for St Leonards, Rye, Pevensy, Eastbourne and Hastings as well as close enough to the seafront at Bexhill. Good variety of local shops and amenities and we were very lucky with the weather for March. So good we didn't want to leave, absolutely no complaints.

Another lovely holiday at our favourite location.

Mariners Corner is a beautiful bungalow to stay in and well located. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival with a wonderful cream tea set on the table! Wine, milk and essential toiletries were also left which were very useful. The cupboards were full of all the cooking utensils and equipment that you might need. The decor is a little dated but all very well maintained and very warm too with the heating on. An added bonus too to have the use of both a washing machine and tumble drier in the lovely conservatory at the back of the bungalow. All the rooms are light and airy and plenty of storage space in wardrobes and cupboards and lots of spare bedding too. The only point we would make but this is purely personal, is that the main mattress is very soft and also the 2 sofas. Not good for people with bad backs!! Overall though, a super clean, bright and spacious holiday bungalow that i would highly recommend a stay in.

We loved the burgalow, it was very clean, was fully equipped with everything you could want. It was spacious and very quite. Tea on the table was a nice touch on arrival. The internet service was very slow and we tried to play a new dvd but the picture was blurry. Bathroom was missing a shaver point. We didn't enjoy the local area of bexhill, finding too busy and rundown for our taste Although, some of the villages a little further out very really lovely. As was Eastbourne.
