    Come and relax in the peace and tranquillity of Lindale situated just 2 miles from the coast and on the edge of the Lake District.

    Living room: With multi-fuel burner, 32’’ Freeview Smart TV, DVD player and tiled floor.
    Kitchen/dining room: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tiled floor.
    Bedroom 1: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle and toilet.

    First Floor:
    Bedroom 2: With double bed.
    Bedroom 3: With single bed.
    Bedroom 4: With single bed.
    Bathroom: With bath, shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

    Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack.

    Enclosed garden with patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Hot tub (private). On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are steps to the garden, and a slight sloping bank. This property has a security deposit of £200.

    Mariner’s Cottage is nestled in the peaceful village of Lindale near to Grange-over-Sands and only a short drive from Fell Foot at Lake Windermere. It has been refurbished from a former farm building to a very good standard. There is a lovely enclosed garden with a private hot tub, but is not suitable for outdoor parties due to the proximity of the neighbouring properties.

    Lindale is ideally situated for visiting the Lake District and discovering all that it has to offer. Located only a few miles from the village of Cartmel, famous for its sticky toffee pudding and well-known racecourse, holding nine race meetings each year. The property is ideal to return to after a day’s exploring the Lakes. Why not relax with a glass of your favourite tipple, then light up the barbecue and watch the sunset. There is even a children’s play and skate park just 500 yards away. Beach 2 miles. Shop 300 yards, pub 800 yards, restaurant 3 miles.

    Beautiful cottage, well kitted out and great communication from hosts. Loved the hot tub. Good base for our week visiting the lakes. Brilliant that it had a high chair and travel cot for our 7month old as well

    We have enjoyed a lovely week at Mariners Cottage. The cottage is very clean and well equipped, we have given it a "9" as we felt there was not enough storage space in the kitchen and we had to move things around to store our food. A mirror in the downstairs bedroom and ensuite would have been useful but this is "nitpicking", this is a luxury cottage. We all loved the hot tub and made very good use of it. We liked the location and made good use of the Royal Oak Pub which was only a 10 minute uphill walk from the cottage, the food was very good there. The Post Office and stores was fine but not very well stocked. Lucy was in contact by email checking that everything was ok and informing us when Nick was checking the hot tub. We all enjoyed the welcome pack this was a lovely touch. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden, the village was very peaceful.

    Absolutely beautiful cottage with everything you could need.....a real home from home. Sat centrally in a lovely little village with a Post Office/corner shop for the essentials and a pub/restaurant about a 10min walk away (quite a steep walk and some parts have no pavement). A larger Tesco Express is about 10min away in the car. Windermere is 30min away, Morecambe Bay/Grange over Sands and Cartmel are about 10-15min away. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it

    Spotless. Great location for exploring the South Lakes, with helpful and responsive owners. We chose Mariners Cottage as we required 4 bedrooms and it suited us beautifully. The hot tub was a real bonus: ideal for easing away aches & pains after a day of hiking. Interesting local village walks are available. A series of short walks can be purchased from the village Post Office.

    Lindale is a quiet village really so doesn’t have any amenities so you do need a car to get to Grange-Over-Sands where there are more pubs, cafes and shops. The cottage has everything you need. If you want to relax there is a hot tub and Netflix or a great place for walkers to stay at. You do need a car really to get anywhere. We have had a great family stay in the cottage and this is our second time there. Our children are older now so a cottage suits us better.

    This was a lovely cottage, so clean and fresh and everything to a high standard. Great rooms and all the essentials. The hot tub is huge and was so easy to use and just made our stay extra fun.

    Lovely cottage which is in close proximity to local attractions. Clean and homely feel with the added comfort of a hot tub after a long day of climbing a mountain!! Would definitely recommend.
