Very well equipped kitchen and nicely appointed cottage - really very clean and all positive. Wood burner a plus but central heating was more than adequate. Great quiet wooded location within easy reach of centres around the Scottish Borders. Would perhaps benefit from hooks in the hall on which to hang outside rainwear and a place for wet shoes. However, overall it was a great place to stay and relax.

Peaceful and quiet - with everything you need. Ideal location for discovering Edinburgh and Glasgow areas. My husband is disabled and the only improvement would be a handrail up to the doorway on the two small steps. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.

The owners have obviously tried hard to create a comfortable cottage for guests. The owner was also very considerate allowing us an early arrival and making sure the heating was on which we really appreciated.

Lovely, clean and very well equipped cottage. Stunning location, with many walks within small radius. Nearest town is Biggar , which is great and has local pubs and good eating places. Would highly recommend. We stayed for a short 3 night Easter break . The weather was fabulous so we could enjoy the outdoor space and the evening sun whilst sitting in the garden of the cottage.
