    > Nestled down a quiet country lane in the small hamlet village of Letterston, this detached, traditional Pembrokeshire longhouse has retained much of its original charm and character, making it a perfect central base for a family or group looking to discover the spectacular rugged Pembrokeshire coastline and Preseli Hills. Set on the owners’ working, organic farm, Meillion Cottage dates back to the 18th century and has been sympathetically restored to uncover its original features including stone walls and exposed beams, whilst lots of welcoming touches have been added, including a traditional wood-burning stove for those cosy nights in. Each room has been tastefully decorated to a very good standard and disabled facilities have been added to provide comfort and relaxation for everyone. There is underfloor heating throughout the whole property. Guests can enjoy the lawned garden area with furniture, perfect for unwinding after a busy day exploring the nearby Preseli Hills with its picturesque walks and ancient monuments. Located just 5 miles away from the coast, the area abounds with fantastic walks along the iconic coastal path where guests can discover the charming villages of Solva and Porthgain, set within their tranquil fishing harbours and offering a collection of seafood restaurants and art galleries. Discover the historic city of St Davids, featuring the magnificent 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of the Bishop’s Palace, or for the more adventurous, take a sea safari expedition around the off shore island of Ramsey. The beaches of Newgale and Whitesands are within easy reach and are renowned for surf and water sport activities. Tenby is just a 40-minute drive away with its thrilling leisure attractions, including Oakwood, Folly Farm and Manor House Wildlife Park. Golf and horse riding nearby. Beach 5 miles. Shop and pub 500 yards.

Very well equipped cottage, beautifully laid out and clean. Cooker, fridge and freeze, plus all the cutlery, crockery, pots and pans you could ever wish for. I have already recommended the property to friends.

Accommodation was excellent, extremely clean and very well equipped. The only downside for us was that there was no phone coverage in the house although the Wi-Fi was great.

We had a fabulous time at the cottage. The coastal walks are stunning. Plenty of places to visit. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us and a fresh loaf of bread was brought across when it was ready. A perfect cottage with everything you need and more. We will definitely be booking to go again.

This is a very comfortable spacious cottage. Its green credentials are fantastic. We were impressed with the underfloor and water heating systems; it was our first experience of both. The owners were unobtrusive, but provided us with delicious products from their organic dairy farm and homemade bread on our arrival. Moira’s Welshcakes were the best we tasted, and that was many. The location is central for the whole Pembrokeshire coast, but very peaceful. There are many lovely unspoiled beaches, and beautiful countryside to explore.

Attention to detail is what makes this holiday home special. We love the house. Despite it being of a good size it is really warm and cosy which makes it lovely to come back to after a day out. We have taken many holidays in this area over the years and this is definitely the best accommodation we have stayed in. It's location is great for us as we love to visit Newport, Fishguard and St. David's. We will gladly book this house again.

A perfect cottage in all respects. The owners are to be congratulated on their attention to detail. Roger's bread and Moira's welsh cakes created the perfect welcome.

We loved this cottage...the kids enjoyed playing in the secret den in their bedroom. All the equipment worked which is usually not the case in holiday cottages. The owner was very kind and lent us some crabbing stuff which was used to the full. Fully recommend this cottage.
