On the ground floor, the stylish décor compliments the original features – a wood burner nestled in the stone feature wall surrounded by plush furnishings, is a cosy space to unwind in. Through to the cottage-style kitchen, fully equipped and even a dining table and chairs to seat up to four. The bathroom is modern with a shower over the bath. Doors lead out from the kitchen to the rear garden. In this little sun trap, you’ll find comfortable seating as well as a table and chairs for dining outdoors and a firepit! The terraced cottage is conveniently located in Aberdare, with plenty of local amenities within easy reach. There are shops, pubs and transport links within walking distance. There is a gated driveway for secure parking, at the front of the property.
With good transport and road links you can explore more of South Wales with ease. Brecon Beacons National Park, Zip World, Bike Park Wales and Rock UK Summit Centre are all within half an hour’s drive for outdoor activities. There are beautiful country parks, wonderful waterfall walks, and traditional towns to visit. The bus/railway station is a short walk away, and good road links to get you around. Further afield, perhaps enjoy a day trip to the coast where you can visit Blue Flag beaches, famous seaside towns, and enjoy miles of impressive coastline, or maybe you could indulge in some retail therapy and fine dining in Wales’ capital city of Cardiff, under an hour’s drive away.
