    Bedroom: With double bed plus one single bed (for + 1 by arrangement)

    All electricity and bed linen included. Cot, high chair and stair gate available by request. Drying facilities available by request. Additional camp bed suitable for a child available on request

    Riverside location, open garden area with outdoor seating. Free seasonal salmon & trout fishing available by request. Some seasonal home grown vegetables may be available. Enclosed shared driveway to front door with off road parking for 2 cars. NB: Garden leads to river bank and waterfall.

    Mill House Annex is situated in a very unique location on the very banks of the River Endrick near the hamlet of Gartness, on the edge of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park.  Mill House Annex dates back to the 1800’s when it once was a working mill producing textiles.  The water wheel has long gone but evidence of the water ways and structures can still be seen. The property is quaint and quirky with thick walls, floors which run off at different angles, ceilings of varying heights and even a few stone steps to take you up from the lounge into the kitchen area.  Stable doors lead out to an open mature garden area and the river side is only 3 metres away.

    We loved our stay in this quirky cottage and the location next to the river is just stunning. Our hosts were both friendly and very welcoming. Will definitely be going back xx

    Mill House Cottage is like staying at a friend's house who owns an old mill house on the banks of a river. The cottage has character and is homely and there is a variety of mismatched furniture and the oven has seen a lot of service (it is not fan assisted but does work). The bed is ok but would benefit from either a new mattress or mattress topper. The windows are on the smaller side but there are great views of the river from them. The bathroom is downstairs and furthest from the bedroom. It is down a single track road but there are plenty of passing points and it is well located for getting to Loch Lomond and also Stirling/Glasgow/Edinburgh.

    Warm welcome from our hosts. Comfortable and clean accommodation. Beautiful riverside location close to West Highland Way where we could walk or cycle with our young daughter. Thanks to warm weather we even had a dip in the river on the advice of our hosts. Thank you for a wonderful stay. It felt like home away from home.

    superb location,only downside was we had to get the car out to go anywhere.Also if you cannot live without wi-fi (which we can ) it's not for you.

    An excellent week, Ann was most welcoming and helpful, the cottage was very comfortable and well equipt and in a beautiful location. The West Highland Way was by the entrance of the lane to the cottage.

    Such a relaxing place to be, the scenery is spectacular this is the second time we have stayed here and will probably be returning next year. Only reason comfort was an 8 is the bed could be better.
