Situated just off the high street, this quaint, semi-detached Dales cottage is ideally placed for exploring this wonderful village’s country shops and pubs. You can walk direct from the door up onto the moors, where you will be able to enjoy expansive views over Wharfedale, or for those wanting a more leisurely walk, you can saunter along the footpath that follows the River Wharfe. A short drive away lies the traditional market town of Skipton, which is known as the ‘gateway to the Dales’. Here you will find a Norman castle at the top of the cobbled High Street, which is lined with a wide variety of shops, pubs and eateries. There are also canal trips, a golf course and a leisure centre with swimming pool to enjoy.
Visit the National Trust owned Studley Royal, and you can also take a day trip to York, with its abundance of historical sites. If you’d rather stay a little closer to home, the property is situated within the Yorkshire Dales National Park – needless to say, the stark natural beauty of the river valleys and hills are simply breathtaking. After a long day spent outdoors, you can simply put your feet up and relax by the wood burner. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
