Lying peacefully in a truly magnificent position on the edge of Pembrokeshire’s iconic coastal path, this large detached cottage is conveniently located in the heart of the quaint coastal village of Amroth, with its 16th-century, traditional village pub and golden beach. This former fisherman’s cottage, close to the owner’s home, dates back to the late 19th century and has been beautifully converted into a spacious holiday home, providing guests with the ultimate holiday experience. Each room has been lovingly presented with quality furnishings, and the property features a large, open-plan dining room/kitchen and living room boasting splendid views over the coast. An indoor games room has been added for the family to enjoy during inclement weather. Outside, guests can relax on their own enclosed patio area featuring a barbecue, which is perfect for al-fresco dining, or stroll the promenade and enjoy the spectacular views which stretch across the coast towards Tenby and the Gower Peninsula. Just a stone’s throw away are the beautiful Colby Woods and Gardens (National Trust), which provide guests with interesting walks and areas away from the hustle and bustle of the beach. The coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are visible from the doorstep, and lie just a 15-minute drive away. The picturesque coastal towns are encased in tranquil fishing harbours and offer a selection of gift shops, art galleries, sandy beaches and highly acclaimed restaurants, with freshly caught fish always on the menu. A visit to the resort would not be complete without a memorable boat trip to the off-shore island of Caldey, where visitors can share the serenity and tranquillity of the Cistercian Monks. Alternatively, take a sea safari along the dramatic coast, cruising close to rare sea birds, seals and the occasional dolphin. The award-winning leisure attractions of Oakwood, Manor House and Folly Farm are well worth a visit, as are the numerous historic sites dotted around the country, including Pembroke, Carew and Manorbier castles. Beach 10 yards. Shop 10 yards, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

This was our second visit to Morfa, and it was still as fab as before. The house was very clean, with all the amenities we expected. We actually arrived ahead of the official arrival time, but that wasn’t a problem, the house was ready, so our holiday started a bit earlier! The location is amazing, right on the beach front, and very close to Tenby and other attractions.

We had a lovely week at Morfa, it is a large house with a mix of modern & cottage style. It is very clean and well equipped. The owners live next door & are very friendly and helpful. It is in a quiet area, with a few shops & restaurants just next door, and just a 10/15min drive from Tenby. The beach is a lovely mix of pebbles & sand sections & perfect for exploring for crabs. Our only criticism and it is a small one for an over all excellent holiday is that the house had a damp smell when we first arrived & all your clothes have a damp feel to them every day when you first put them on. Not sure if this is the house itself or just what happens when you live so close to the sea.
