Fantastic place with fabulous views, however the only criticism we had was the fact the picture is a little misleading in the fact that it looks totally isolated however there is another cabin in touching distance,

The lodge was wonderfully equipped and absolutely beautiful scenery right on the doorstep. Loved waking up to the mountains every morning. Lots of room and space for the dog, loved a bath every morning! The only issue was that there was no straight walk out straight from the lodge. However this could be due to hotel being refurbed up the road. Perfect location for fort William and spean bridge. Beautiful holiday and definitely be returning.

We had a lovely stay in mountain thyme lodge. The views are beautiful and the lodge is a good size and well equipped. We were impressed by how homely it felt compared to some other lodges we have stayed in. Our only slight negative was the grass surrounding the patio was quite overgrown which restricted the use of the outdoor space. The location is ideal if you are looking to feel remote but still have all the amenities of Fort William within a reasonable drive.

We had the best time at this peaceful and extremely comfortable and well equipped lodge. Beautiful setting and in a convenient location for exploring the highlands. The lodge is spotlessly clean with fantastic reclining lounge chairs and very comfortable mattresses. This is one of the best lodges we have stayed at and cannot wait to return.

The location was excellent, however the chair and sofas have definitely seen better days and need replacing. Exiting the location is extremely hazardous, as no mirrors on the road are available and you cannot see around the bushes in either direction for oncoming traffic.

The lodge is quite well equipped except for no fresh coffee making equipment. This had been pointed out some time before by a visitor. We ended up buying a cafetier & a tin opener because the one provided was worn. Because of the need for bottled water, it would have been better to have provided one for visitors. The lodge key/ door was difficult to lock. Overall, the lodge was very comfortable, clean with very efficient heating & hot watering inspire of the wet weather we had an enjoyable week. Thank you.

Great Lodge in a fantastic spot. A82 is busy but road noise does not intrude too much. Well furnished and comfortable, slight damp smell in one of the bedrooms but understandable considering the proximity to Loch Lochy. Could have done with a welcome pack (Coffee, Tea, Milk, Condiments etc) as nearest shop some 5 miles away. Also a washing up brush and washing liquid would have been good. Judging by the signs in the lodge then bottled water is a must.

Upfront a warning about the water conditions would have been appreciated! Water is hazardous, even showering could be dangerous according to the authorities (paper with warning was available in the bathrooms). Showering in the one bathroom, while someone else is using the sink in the other bathroom is not possible, we found out the hard way. Cleaning was not so good, kitchen showed lot of stains, cottage was left cleaner by us, than how we found it. Bedroom ceilings with fungus? At least black spots in corner. And for 2 nights we paid as 2 hotel rooms, not cheap. And eating in the so next doors hotel is not really adviseable, go to the fiddlers. But beside all this, location was good. Nice view over the lake and mountains. Easy access to eg fort william, loch ness, etc. Kitchen well equiped. Matrasses and bedding good, we slept well and quiet, no disco next doors (that's why we didn't scote amenities, for us no amenities is a 10, for others this could count as a 1), just the birds.

Beautiful surroundings, cosy comfortable cottage with every thing you could need for a home from home experience. The water pressure was a bit hit and miss as was the TV signals, although it was lovely with no WIFI!
