Visit the Cairngorm funicular railway which will take you to the Ptarmigan Top Station just below the Cairngorm summit, the Highland Wildlife Park or The Highland Folk Museum, where you can enjoy learning about Highland life going back to the 1700s. Kingussie boasts a good variety of pubs, restaurants and shops with Inverness, ’the Highland capital’, Loch Ness and Fort William, ’the outdoor capital of the UK’ all within an easy drive.
