The village of Roch is within walking distance with its shop and traditional village pub serving homemade food and its own real ales. However, the main draw here is undoubtedly Newgale beach, which is only a short drive away. This spectacular stretch of golden sand is popular with surfers, walkers and beachgoers throughout the year with its shallow waters perfect for swimming and watersports. There is also a food serving pub, cafes, and a pop-up pizzeria (in the summer months) serving delicious homemade pizza.
Magical St Davids is around 15 minutes drive, where there are many cafes, restaurants, and shops to sample and peruse as well as the awe-inspiring St David’s Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace.
There are a variety of other beaches within easy reach from here including Little Haven, Broad Haven, Druidston, Caerfai and Whitesands to name just a few.
